
Brigid Lohrey
Brigid is a professional actor who is working both on stage and screen, from new writing and classical drama to a short film for Film4. Brigid is both an Examiner on the Board of Examiners at LAMDA and a expert Viola Spolin Technique Coach, so in between acting assignments she assesses acting and communications exams across the country and internationally.
Brigid has also directed several new writing pieces for the Jack Studio Theatre’s Write Now Festivals, she is an Associate Director at the theatre and works on casting as well as directing. She was awarded the Best Director at the Off Cut Festival in 2011 for the new writing piece The Wrong Tree.
She has directed Lines of Vision and The Seafarer for Aelfa Drama School, and After Miss Julie and Ten Little Fingers, Nine Little Toes for The Actorworks.
